VAPORIZED LIQUID CHLORINE
As a halogen, chlorine is a highly efficient disinfectant, and is added to public water supplies to kill disease-causing pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and protozoan's, that commonly grow in water supply reservoirs, on the walls of water mains and in storage tanks.
SODIUM HYPO CHLORITE
It is an alkaline chlorinated compound sodium hypochlorite is capable of eliminating all forms of micro-organisms, it is stronger than any other disinfectants since the others may act only on some micro-organisms and the action varies from organism to organism.
Two Grades are available in Sodium Hypo Chlorite with us.
1. Grade I : With 4% to 6% Concentration of Chlorine.
2. Grade II: With 10% to 12% Concentration of Chlorine.
CHLORINE LIQUID solution is capable of releasing free chlorine which kills all forms of micro-organisms, viruses, bacteria, algae etc., due to its most powerful disinfecting action.
CHLORINE LIQUID has a wide range of application in water treatment. It can be used for general; disinfection of Operation-Theatres, Wards, Equipment, Rubber sheeting's and drinking water.
FERRIC ALUM
Coagulation is essential part of drinking water treatment as well as wastewater treatment by using ferric alum or with non-ferric alum.
Coagulation is important in several wastewater treatment operations. A common example is chemical Phosphorus removal and another, in overloaded wastewater treatments plants is the practice of chemically enhancing primary treatment to reduce suspended solids and organic loads.
Both Ferric Alum and Non-Ferric Alum are Available.
GAS CHLORINATORS
Used for municipal water treatment and wastewater treatment, UNIK Chlorinators both Gravity and Vaccum feed products have a wide range application in water treatment, and allow the use of chlorine gas, which is the most economical method of disinfection.
Gravity feed and vaccum feed Chlorinators are available.
H2S STRIPS
These Strips are used for detection of hydrogen sulphide products by micro-organisms. Hydro sulphide can be produced in small amounts from sulphur containing amino acids like cysteine by a large number of bacteria in carbohydrate media. Hydrogen sulphide produces on contact with lead acetate a black precipitate indicated by a visible black - coloured reaction on the hydrogen sulphide paper strip. The lead acetate procedure is more sensitive than any other method for detecting hydrogen sulphide production.
AIR BREATHING APPARATUS
Emergency Life breathing apparatus useful to tackle vaporized liquid chlorine leakages in chlorination plants and consists of a transparent universal fit hood which completely covers the head and an alloy steel cylinder, containing air charged to 200 bar (2900 psi) placed in a front pocket lying on the chest, flame resistant materials, silver in colour to reflect heat and be highly visible, durable and reliable construction with low maintenance, Full-face hood fits all persons, steady air-flow for 15Mins. With sufficient air delivery rate, easy visual access on the pressure gauge, working temperature range: 10°C to 65°C, easy to refill cylinder - no adaptor required.
